Why is the Space Needle orange? For those of you around Seattle during the Worlds Fair in 1962, this photo might bring back fond memories. The top of the Needle was originally painted “Galaxy Gold” – a bright orange color. For it’s 40th anniversary in 2002 it was repainted the original color for the month of April. Check out Mt.
